What is Disperse Dyes?

Disperse Dye is a class of water-soluble nonionic lower Solvent Dye. The earliest for dyeing acetate fibers, called cellulose acetate dyes. With the development of synthetic fibers, nylon, polyester has appeared, especially polyester, due to the entire column and high fiber voids less hydrophobic and other characteristics, to have a carrier or high temperatures, hot-melt extruded under the fiber, dyes can enter the fiber and dyeing. Therefore, put forward the new request to the dye, that is hydrophobic and has better dispersion and dye sublimation resistance and so on. At present, the dyeing and finishing of disperse dyes for polyester fabric dyeing basically have these properties, but because of more varieties, when use it, it must also be according to requirements of machining line selection.
Disperse Dyes’ molecules is small, the structure is not water soluble group. With the help of the role dispersant in dispersion and uniform dye dyeing. Disperse Dyes can be broadly divided into Disperse Orange, Disperse Blue, Disperse Yellow, Disperse Red,Disperse Violet.
In the process of commodity processing, to make the product dye is dispersed in water quickly becomes uniform and stable colloidal suspension of fine particles of dye must reach about 1 micron. Add dispersing agent and wetting agent during the sanding process, finishing treatment of Disperse Dyes are generally sanded, spices, spray drying, the composition of the packaging. The finishing treatment in the process need to use many additives, such as liginin, MF, anti-settling agent (SOS), dustproof, dispersant NNO, and also need to add strength Sodium Sulphate be adjusted.
Disperse Dyes is the most important and one of the main categories of the dye industry, strong water-soluble free radical, in the dyeing process for dyeing was dispersed state for a class of non-ionic dye. The particle fineness of it is about 1 μm. After the original dye obtained after processing needs treated, including stable cyrstal form, together with a dispersing agent such as grinding commercializtion, in order to obtain commercial dyes. It is mainly used for dyeing polyester and blended fabrics, and also can be used in the dyeing of synthetic fibers of cellulose acetate, nylon, polypropylene, Polyvinyl Chloride, acrylic and so on.
